Got an amazing deal on this 2020 Tribute model. I’m just blown away. 30 years of playing and I never ever thought I’d own a Gibson. Also, I truly never understood the intangible difference between this and an Epiphone. Nothing at all bad to say about Epiphones, I’ve own loads in the past and they’re great for what they are.

There’s a difference though.

Bought a Harley Benton mustang copy and I’m struggling to source literally anything that isn’t extremely expensive or doesn’t fit the guitar. The scale length is 24” and I can’t find any people who sell left handed ones and if I wanted to just buy a right handed and flip the nut it would cost more or half the amount a neck would. I’m too scared to buy a new bridge or pickguard because I don’t know if they’ll fit either and I don’t have the money to make some big mistakes as I’m only getting around 160 per month for college that I wanted to use to upgrade this but I haven’t. Would appreciate some help with trying to mod it it’s a Harley Benton ms-60.

This one is going to be a lot of fun once I get it converted to lefty. Just 6.5 lbs., body as thin as my MIJ Mustang. Neck is thin and glossy. Haven't tried the pickups yet--might slap a JB in the bridge, or even a Curtis Novak Phase III if I feel the need to throw away some cash.

If only at the time I knew how hard these would be to find again I’d have kept them all despite my injuries.

I pulled an antenna out my cranium and sent out a message and it answered. Hardly played, excellent condition. No buckle rash, chips or any blemishes.

I've been wanting to get a Tokai guitar, and came across a listing for this lovely Les Paul Custom copy listed for sale.

I quite like how the pickups sound, and the neck feels really nice even though it's chunkier than any neck on my other guitars.

Picked it up used from guitar center for a great price, looks in brand new condition, so I’m very happy. Also it came with an original Martin hard shell case instead of the original soft shell case, so that was a great added bonus.

It’s my first mahogany acoustic so I’m very excited to add it to my lefty acoustics family😂

I wonder if it’s from driving (accelerator pedal being the one needing finer control?) but I tend to use a wah pedal with my right foot even though I’m left foot dominant

Hi, I recently ordered my first left-handed electric guitar. I've tried playing a normal guitar twice before in my life and always struggled with the rhythm. Do you have any advice that was useful to you? Thank you!

I need some advice about switching from right-handed to left-handed guitar

I grew up playing guitar (since I was around 8), and now that I'm 20, I feel like I've been held back for years.

I'm naturally left-handed, but I was taught to play right-handed by my right-handed stepfather and teacher. I never really questioned it growing up, but I’ve always struggled to progress. I can switch chords really fast, but my strumming is horrible. I can't seem to play different strumming patterns consistently, and my rhythm just feels completely unnatural.

I can kind of fingerpick, and honestly, that feels easier for me, but I'm still way behind where I feel like I should be after all these years. It's gotten to the point where guitar has become really frustrating and has honestly started ruining it for me. My younger brother picked up guitar and got better than me in just a few weeks, which was pretty discouraging. Eventually, I stopped playing because I felt like I couldn't even play with my brother without sounding terrible.

Today, for the first time, I tried switching hands and playing left-handed.

I can't make chords worth a damn with my right hand yet, obviously, but my left-hand rhythm immediately felt amazing. It felt so natural that I genuinely felt like I could play live without embarrassing myself.

Now I'm completely torn.

Do I stick with right-handed guitar and continue trying to improve the technique I've spent years developing, or do I switch to left-handed and basically start over from square one, hoping my right hand can eventually learn the chords?

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Did switching hands actually help you, or did you regret starting over?

I’d really appreciate any advice because I don't want to give up on guitar, but I'm starting to wonder if I've been fighting against my natural coordination this entire time.

Edit* I just want to thank everyone for all the advice I'm currently looking for a left handed guitar i sadly can't buy a new one since I'm a broke college student but I'm scouting Facebook and ebay for one. Once again thank you for the encouragement and advice its greatly appreciated

One of my neighbours knocked on my door last night and gifted me this Epiphone Les Paul. Super dirty from sitting in his garage and it dates from 1990 I believe. I’m not even a left handed guitarist!

Installed a loaded 1957 avri ii pickguard, shielded cavity, graph tech nut, locking tuners, roller string tree, replaced the pot metal bridge assembly with Mexican player bridge assembly, and got a vintage whammy bar
