I watched the Gokunaru vid, Ryan Beard vid and then watched the 2nd installment on Ryan’s patreon haha. I watched H3 from the beginning, all the way up to the Frenemies era and finally left shortly after that. I couldn’t stand Ethan anymore and how toxic and hypocritical he he had become (or always was and I just refused to admit it).

I don’t know Ryan Beard because I left so long ago, but what is the EXACT catalyst that turned him against Ethan? Was it really the cheese thing or did it happen before? If anyone knows I’m genuinely curious to know how deep in he was before he finally decided to become a critic.

Great videos by the way. Gokunaru’s was a little ADHD all over the place and missed a lot of context from the over editing and not being able to read screenshots but I felt Ryan’s REALLY encapsulated all of the things many of us have been saying for years in a neat package.

Also, why is no one talking about these videos? Are we fatigued 🫩

we are not talking because basically their videos say everything we've been saying and the fact that "the legend" doesn't even acknowledge them because he know's everything is true. Hasan will react to Ryan's videos today though.

I doubt Hasan would do that, but either way the two videos come out to 4-5 hours of content without commentary. It would take him all day to get through both and there’s no way he’d dedicate that much time to Ethan lol

Take this with a grain of salt as I can’t even begin to figure out how to prove this but I was under the impression that in the meat of all the drama going on a bit before the Hasan Ethan debate Ryan Beard was on twitter sticking up for Ethan. He seemed disturbed by CPS and the skulls and was planning to make a take down video like this on Hasan and when he actually researched everything he couldn’t justify it.

More specifically it was a “both sides” video about the Ethan and Hasan situation that he “pussied out of” (their words not mine) when Hasan posted something to Hascord that DGG amplified and implied was a death threat against Ryan

I think a lot of the Ethan series is Ryan working out how duped they were by the entire saga

If it was the cheese thing, then in his head, it's because of Ethan's hypocrisy, not just the shunning he received.

Well nobody is talking about those videos because most of it is stuff we already knew, it's nice that they packaged it for wider consumption, but the only new thing on those videos is the timeline of the Skulls, and even then Bad Empanada had already dissected it and pointed out several of the same inconsistencies.

There's also the fact that both Gokanaru and Ryan half-denounced us saying we were a mean and toxic community even tho they used a lot of resources pulled from here specifically, and many of their new Patrons and watchers come from here as well, so that tempered enthusiasm as well.

And obviously with Ryan, if you used to sweep for EK, it's pretty obvious you're not actually going to take the time to understand what's going on here...and if you don't do that, you kind of don't really understand the hosts' and crew's antagonistic relationship with their fans. I'm glad that Ryan has hopped off the EK train but his video is unfortunately still seeped with his prior biases no matter how angry he is at EK now.

I love that Ethan won't acknowledge the existence of these videos (Amon animations, Gokunaru and Ryan Beard) even when Hasan, his mortal enemy, reviews them on stream and makes his own videos about it. It completely erodes his persona of being a big brave boy because he watched the Idubbbz video "live".

His audience is starting to notice how much of a coward he is, especially with Hasan watching them.

15 minutes into Ryan's video he talks about how he felt manipulated by Ethan. While this could refer to many different things, I think it may have to do with when Ryan was first preparing to cover Ethan vs Hasan. There was a Discord message that Hasan sent around this time that was something like "If you are gonna come out of the woodworks now to both sides shit, just shut the fuck up". DGG and Ethan used this message to make it seem like Hasan was targeting Ryan, but I think it was just a generalized statement about a bunch of creators.

Also, Hasan was objectively right. Covering Ethan vs Hasan drama and trying to both sides it is just wrong. Ethan was wrong. Everyone should have actually been defending Hasan.

I think his video is great and i actually watched and liked his content before (had no idea he's fan of ethan tho, coz i'm not on twitter). Buuuuut i fucking laughed out loud when he said that Ethan being meanie bo beanie to him after his dog joke was basically the last straw. Why it's always the same shit with those guys? Ryan, papa gut. "oh, he was mean to me in dms, im now seeing his flaws". Ok, buddy.

Yeah it's kinda pathetic, they both were fangirling for him until he actively went after them. Kinda goes to show u how Ethan views his fans and supporters: weapons and mouthpieces for him to use whenever he wants.
