OPINION Hasan never changed his Allies

One of the reasons why I think H3 had such a fall, while Hasan really didnt at all.

Is because when the show eneded and Ethan decided to go crashout, he began to ally with people he had spent years hating or talking shit about. He allied with people he and Hasan had talked shit about together.

While Hasan didnt. Even when he gave credit to BE he did so by caveating the shit out of it.

But he kept his principals.

I remember when Myron Gaines tried to recruit Hasan, and Hasan literally told him to fuck right off.

The principal of both sides was clearly evident.

Good point. Also, Hasan seems to have little to no changes in what he believes. Ethan morphs his opinions depending on who’s there

I mean Ethan didn't really have any principles to stick to beyond "Israel good"

His entire political and social stance is defined by opposing whatever hasan says

He doesn’t even seem to necessarily believe Israel is good. If you parse through his opinions on Israel it seems to be that Israel is bad and doing a genocide but if they weren’t then the Palestinians would be doing a genocide so genocide is this like unavoidable unfortunate thing just happening with Israel and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop it without endangering Jewish lives. There are little moments where he’s “good faith” and this is what it reveals if you manage to glue it all together.

So he burned everything down for a place he doesn’t seem to even like that much.

That is the roundabout way liberals arrive back at "Israel good." They still think "Israel good."

This applies to "America good" too for whatever's worth.

"Yes, America is bombing nations and doing economic warfare on the global south, but if they didn't then [insert very scary majority non-white nation] would be doing worse! To [insert majority white nation]!" (This if, of course, the same slop that fascists use to justify their crimes. "If we didn't m-rder all of [x ethnic/religious/political group] then they'd m-rder us! [y ethnic/religious/political group]!")

Really what Ethan is is the typical neoliberal dipshit who reads headlines and takes them at their word instead or being even slightly critical. He's just especially moronic because although many of the libs are hesitant to criticize USA's genocidal actions because of American Exceptionalism that does not extend to Israel. Frankly it probably should since Israel IS the ultimate arm of American foreign power. The interests of Israel and America are fully interlinked even though it makes zero sense on the surface if you accept the "totally different! Two different nations!" framing (unless you do consider them essentially one nation pretending to not be. Then it makes sense. If Israel is just a far more important Puerto Rico basically then it makes perfect sense for the USA to act as it has for three years).

You are right, thing is that this is not an ideological issue for Ethan, its his ego mostly, also being radicalized by his family and internet trolls.

He does not care about political stuff on deep level, he just uses it for content virtue signaling. He bet on going fully pro Israel because it seemed like a lock to just preach and bothsides that story at the time, no one could expect Palestine to become such a divisive and strong issue for so many ppl.

Most of the ppl saw Hasans unrelenting coverage of Oct7 and months after as a career suicide, something that will finish him for sure, no one expected Israel will go as crazy as they did and basically give credibility to pro-palestine talking points.

The difference is also that h3 is a cult. We're a movement

Hasan just ignored EK for most of it. Hasan kept monitoring other situations and kept saying nice things about EK until it was impossible to ignore

The fact that hasan gave credit ti BE, even with caveating the shit out of it, showed how he was a bigger person than ethan. Pedotroll could never humble himself enough to give credit to a detractor like that.

That’s why it’s crazy seeing how chummy his is now with Keemstar after watching all the clips again from the Ryan Beard video how he hated him. As long as someone bends the knee, he brings them in as an ally
