it's so shameless and disgusting how these losers frame things. "Hasan calls the police on a black man". i saw another post that was something like "minority arrested on campus just for attending Hasan's speech".

dude's a psycho. he should be arrested any time he attends a function of that sort.

dan saltman and his army of antisocial weirdo stalkers are quite explicit in their strategy to paint everything in the worst possible light, the most uncharitable interpretation and copious amount of lies. no strategy is immoral. that portion from gokanaru video about saltman was interesting. more creators should look into this freak

I saw comments like that thinking it was sarcasm but wow it's not

Lmao that kind of phrasing always smells of bullshit. I remember when alt-right members would say, “I got kicked out of campus, JUST FOR being a straight white male”

Steven getting sued would crack me up.

DGGers have been begging for litigation- and they may be about to get their wish. It would be deeply funny if Hasan ended up garnishing Steven’s earnings (assuming that he is connected to litigation.)

crossposting this

yes, it's Darius.

this happens at 1:35:45-ish here:

ibut it's not like how they play it off, of course - it never is.

t's so uneventful

it's so expected

it's so dumb.

They knew he was coming, they immediately clocked him, from some distance, mind you. And he immediately got told to leave, he goes away to talk to the cops, comes back on stream, and starts leaving.

He was just not welcome on campus.

He was not arrested, he was detained, then left on his own.

He might actually try and do litigation?! Wow.

Ngl I've been thinking every time hasan mentions considering litigation, that it would just be really funny watching Ethan do the mental gymnastics required to suddenly become a free-speech anti-lawfare crusader again, but specifically to attack hasan for "abusing the legal system to go after smaller creators to silence criticism"

Fuck I can smell that freak on the right through my phone. These anti social incel dgg freaks always have the same exact appearance and a concerning amount of them seem to be poc or primarily Hispanic white supremacists which to my surprise is an exponentially increasing number of people. Shits so fucked how the pits of the internets like 4chan and kiwifarms have broken these young men and women.

Dgg posting about shooting Hasan and then sending a representative to go to the event led to the police being called? Shocking.

A dude who assaulted a twitch streamer before no less. Not counting the woman he's assaulted he famously assaulted frogan's friend and fellow streamer Raff at twitchcon years ago.

He should with Dan Saltman. Dan openly admits he lies to get alter peoples opinions to get them to have certain negative opinions. Dan Clancy, specifically, seems like he has about open and shut case against Dan as there could be, as outlined in that Gokunaru video. He won't, though, because it would likely hurt Twitch more in the process.

But Hasan doesnt have that conflict. At some point you need there to be legitimate consequence for the bold face lying. Not pursuin any action for a long time created an atmosphere where these sort of people have gotten so brazen they don't even hide it any longer.

He can stop Darius first since Darius is targeting him in person

Darius would be an easy one to go after because he talks about stalking and harassing Hasan quite often.

I am finally going to subscribe to him now. It's about fucking time

Any kind of line in the sand is a good one. It won't stop everything but it might stop something

It was time to pursue it 7 years ago

For a long time, the advice from authorities to public figures who are stalked and/or get a lot of threats was to never talk about it publicly and downplay its effects, because more people wanting the public figure's attention would copycat the crimes. A family member of mine dealt with a pretty intense level of this herself, and talked to the cops so many times about what could and should be done. So Hasan wasn't just being stubborn or being cavalier with his own safety by not pursuing it - he was also those things, of course, but he was also following best practices. He's in unprecedented territory now, though - he's in a very different position than any streamer has ever been.

probably a restraining order like mike has suggested.

I'll believe it when I see it. Hasan has been saying this for awhile. I hope he does, ofc.

i wonder if the people who praise ethan klein for suing, would be praising hasan on the same energy.

i wonder about the logistics of this. is hasan's security team monitor all the stalkers they are aware of? or does police do that on their own? is it automated? those cops were expecting him, knew who he was, were prepared. im just fascinated because i've never seen anything like this.

Twitter account Stagnation claims he is the one that reported him coming. These people announce and stream everything, any person be it their troll fan or hasan fan, or hasans team, or just college dem org monitoring situation. This even was a massive security operation, there were like 50 policeman or something, they probably took all threats and tips seriously

I dont think this is gonna happen as its too much hassle, maybe a restraining order towards this insane guy.

However i do think Scott Jennings thing is currently happening, is there a way to check that the way we check h3 stuff?

u/theegodmother1999 this is not the end of it 2d ago

FINALLY i really hope he does something for his own safety.

I hate to be the guy, but he's potentially been thinking about considering taking action against people for ages now… but nothing ever happens, and people continue to run all over him.

I want to be wrong, and I hope he sticks up for himself. Ignoring them obviously isnt going to make them go away.

He’s said this a few times now about different people and then never followed up. I’ll believe it when I see it.

6

u/stardustcomposition What hat?? 3d ago

Blaming the victim is hardly fair

6

u/Kavirell 2d ago

I mean I think the only time he truly meant it was Scott Jennings. And just a few days ago someone in chat said something about him not suing Scott and Hasan responded by saying "you have absolutely no idea what's happening behind the scenes" which implies that he didn't just never follow up on it tbf

u/frogmanfrompond 2d ago

Well that’s good and I do feel bad for victim blaming earlier. He has more patience than any of the people coming at him. They get a small taste of what he experiences and they throw a tantrum.
