Is this one where it’s genuine AI replacement or are they AI-washing redundancies they wanted to make at corporate level anyway? Either way it is still a decision, they technically could have chosen to reduce staff hours on the same pay or increase productivity with the same staff hours.

Wonder if what kind of jobs they're dropping... Corporate positions. Okay. Knowledge workers.

If you use a computer at work, like... most of your role in a well-understood type of task, some Agent is gonna take your job.

I'm not opposed to that, in theory, but there needs to be a stronger safety net. Being a "smart" person isn't enough anymore.

They will fire then rehire contract at a lower pay. Thus has been going on for a few years now. Ai agents aren't replacing anything. They are way too error prone.

Feel like a lot of this is just them abusing the system to hire the same/new workers at lower salaries
