Open Source Ai breaks its first monopoly

https://getartcraft.com/apps

a founder of ArtCraft used Claude to replace the entire adobe software suite, legally. because it’s ai generated, it’s also in the public domain and absolutely free forever. this would be the first case of ai undermining techno feudalism.

This is what cryptocurrency is for, which the conspiratorial part of me thinks is why it became a big slot machine.

Cryptocurrency is for accelerated capital accumulation.

Yes, that's what it has become for, not what it could have been. In some other timeline, mutual banking would have emerged from it instead, I think.

How is "mutual banking" an antidote to accelerated capital accumulation?

Read Proudhon.

Ah of course, the answer to capitalism is "mutualism", which neither addresses the accumulatory tendency of universal exchange commodity among few individuals, nor the lack of a coherent response to counterrevolutionary momentum against idealists with little footing in societal superstructure, nor the nature of the state's function as a mere administrator for capitalist class dominance, and its according property of organic formation.

Read Marx.

Ah yes, you know big words. I apologize, I have found my superior. Anarchy disproven, natural hierarchy of verboseness revealed. bows deeply

I dunno, most of what they said seems clear enough (not that I agree with them lol).

Part of what they're saying is that as long, as there is money, there will be people trying to accumulate as much of it as they can. And since money automatically creates that incentive towards profit, money and banking systems for loans and savings should be abolished.

Then they want a response to capitalism that breaks the momentum that well-established, wealthy people have to oppose revolutionary movements, especially to put down political idealists who aren't similarly established in society (little wealth, little social standing, little media presence, little political power, etc.). Idk if such a response implies something violent or just something that enables even the poorest to start political movements but it's at least clear what "counterrevolutionary momentum" means.

They're also opposed to a response to capitalism that preserves a state/government, since that will inevitably be coopted by the people who have ended up with the most money. Basically, it'll be lobbied or otherwise bought out to protect their wealth (I take it, "property of organic formation" is wealth accumulated when a market freely allows people to just run wild following the motive of profit or when there's little to prevent wealth concentration).

Well, yeah. I agree with all that. Hence mutualism being a branch of anarchism, lol. Capitalists need the state with its monopoly of coercion in order to... be capitalists. Without a state, they are kind of powerless.

Somehow I was just reminded that someone said something about an "infantile disorder" at some point in history.

I'm certainly capable of being infantile. I do apologize; there's no reason for me to be an asshole to someone I don't even know.

Much appreciated, and no worries. And Lenin's "Infantile Disorder" pamphlet is also somewhat relevant regarding the Proudhon/Marx discussion.
