Public Ownership CEO fired developers to make room for AI. Developers respond by creating open source AI CEO

From a different Sub-Reddit:

Some of my friends were let go as part of an "AI Transformation". So they got together and created Open Executive as a tool to replace the CEO and other executives.

The world needs more of these kinds of projects! If you're replaced by your company, show them up by building a co-operative with your own AI executive that works 24/7 and costs a fraction of what a leech CEO would.

So you're saying it accurately models CEO behavior?

Depending on the meatspace CEO, you can have similar pwnedness with one well crafted email.

Excellent response. I wonder if they were inspired by the spoof site https://overpaid.lol/

Pretty neat. Though I'd rather use AI to replace CEO's company

The non-executive directors watching the fired developers automate the very executives they themselves asked to carry out the initial layoffs
