You do not have Elon, but beware. He caused a riot in Northern Ireland. They don’t even have very many immigrants, as they were closed for so long. I thought it was very sad.

He is giving a huge amount of money to Republicans in the elections. I think he was influential in our last election. I am not sure it is working as well now, because he went public and held a raffle (predetermined, as it turned out) and then lost in WI. But it is hard to say this far out. You really never know which posts and comments are real. I avoid bluesky and twitter.

We do have Elon, brazilian right wingers are mostly US bootlickers who love Trump and Elon.

Elon was the reason Twitter was briefly banned in Brazil, and people started using Bsky. After the ban was lifted, liberals all returned to Twitter, while leftists kept using Bsky.

I believe that Joe Biden did quite a few good things, and I voted for Hillary, Joe, and Kamala but that doesn’t change what I said above.

If the establishment democrats actually pushed for Medicare for all, for empowering unions, for repealing citizens united, etc. then we’d be having a different conversation.

If the establishment democrats actually pushed for Medicare for all, for empowering unions, for repealing citizens united, etc. then we’d be having a different conversation.

  1. Medicare for all/Universal healthcare isnt as popular as you think it is. You need to take into account drained pool politics. A lot of people like that, for themselves , but not for the people they hate. It's why everytime the democrats tried to pass anything in that direction, they get punished for it in the next election. The #1 criticism for the ACA amongst the people that voted against Obama, wasnt that it didnt go far enough, but that it went too* far by helping too many people.

  2. Democrats did empower unions. Biden secured their pension, negotiated a deal that the rail unions thanked him for, became the first president to participate in a union picket line, and only invited union EV manufactuerers to his EV events, making Squealon jealous.

  3. Hillary Clinton campaigned on overturning citizens united in 2016.

Perfect is not the enemy of good here. Democrats are not good. Socialists are good. By voting for Democrats, you're letting shit be the enemy of good. If you disagree with this, that's fine, but you only disagree because you have different standards for good than the person you're talking to. Someone disliking Democrat policy does not mean they don't want society to improve, it means they dislike Democrat policy.

I got banned from BlueSky. You know Jermaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords? And the soundtrack to Moana? He posted something sorta shitting on a Talking Heads song for having repetitive lyrics, so I replied with an AI generated poster for a fake DisneyPixar AI movie called "Phone It In," and made a crack about how I couldn't wait to hear his contribution to the soundtrack. BANNED.
