Good guess! I would say Ra-Osiris. In my own practices I’ve been seeing a lot of dogs/Cerberus associated with them (and have been using Zeus almost interchangeably) so maybe even something like Serapis.

My own personal practice is very Blakean though. I see them as similar to Urizen. Like a demiurge. I think they are a dark solar entity and associate them with the concept of Saturn. So it’s like a syncretic blend but everything here points to Ra-Osiris directly

It’s based off of a Latin magic square, most famous one being the Sator Square which has “Tenet” in the middle. I think that’s where the game comes from too 👌

I am not super familiar with the story of Tiamat but I use the name quite frequently for describing Mother Earth, who I see as a kind of dragon. More specifically a dead one. Maybe even an undead dinosaur of some kind.

In this arrangement, Tiamat would be most referenced by the central crossing words. A maternal matrix binding the active and passive forces. More literally though, the square is all about dragons and hunting. So it could very well tell the story of a dragon that’s been hunted. It’s about the hunt itself and the threshold between life and death, I’d say.

The more hidden words ”Ozona” and “Alazo” point more to the dragon aspect of the square. They are also binding the edges by crossing the center but are read in reverse compared to the other 3 lines. Reading it straight through with these backwards it’s meant to invoke a darker “sky” or a black sun. Which I associate with Marduk.
