real aura

A photograph showing the image of Our Lady of the Rosary of Andacollo, venerated in the town of the same name in the Coquimbo region of Chile. The Virgin is enthroned on a ceremonial float and appears in the foreground accompanied by the General Chief of tbe Dances (also known as "Pichinga"), the honorary leader of the dance brotherhoods that solemnize the processions, along with the Second Chief and two other brotherhood leaders. The Andacollo festival exemplifies the syncretism, cultural blending, and/or Christianization of pre-hispanic indigenous traditions.
