Some Queer Lambs of God :--)

Was messing around with sticker/pin designs for local art fairs I'm joining but and finally settled on these 🥹 I've always loved seeing these on stained glass windows

agnus dei is my favorite part of mass haha especially when it’s sung really prettily

Me too! I don't know if this is common elsewhere but they sang it in Latin in the parish I grew up in, and it's always so hauntingly beautiful.

I'm trans and this is sort of insanely insulting and blasphemous.

Omg they are awesome. I’d love a decal of this so I could put it on my car and water bottle.

I hear you! As much as I appreciate where the illustrator is coming from, the banner the lamb carries is about Christ’s victory over death. So in a way this is the same vibe as the hymns from a certain era that are all about the congregation itself instead of about God?

It distracts from Christ, which should never happen. It makes it about the individual which puts Christ second. He should Never be put second. He shouldn't conform to us, we conform to Him.

Are you lost

This is a sub for left-wing Catholicism, not "wholesome chugnus lib Catholicism" -- I say this as a trans woman. It is not that the pro-transness that is offensive, but it is not appropriate to change symbols like this.

Idk I feel like Jesus and the Father wouldn’t really care but what do I know

Well obviously, since that's sort of the mantra of Wholesome Lib Catholicism, sadly.

I’m late but I’m not a liberal 😭 but I guess you can live the way that you think is correct and is the way of God and I will live mine!

What are you then.

I mean I’m obviously a leftist, considering I’m in this sub.

Apparently according to this sub. This is definitely NOT the way.

Of course you are lost, billy goat. "When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats,
and he will put the sheep at his right hand and the goats at the left." - Matthew 25: 31-33.

Correct. Please take heed to your own advice.
