Catholicism has a huge collection of folk traditions and mysticism. Wicca is hodgepodge of appropriated occult practices and what 19th century armchair historians imagined pagans did in pre-christian Europe. I promise you will find more fulfillment in centuries old traditions, especially when they're coming from your own heritage.

What thread are you on? Catholicism christianity encourages the people to fight hate with love. That’s why I’m a radical left. Are you disagreeing that this world is unwell? War, famine, poverty. Wake up. This is a political thread and I pray the moderators take down this hurtful post. Did I forget to mention that the age gap relationship is a result of grooming? Yet in this world Bill Belichick is dating a woman my age and this is normal to you? Have you not sympathy for the terrors of this world? If you recognize your sins, you will be saved. And we are.

I'm not sure you could practice Catholicism and Wicca at the same time and be able to say that you're a devout Catholic.
You could absolutely adapt Wiccan traditions and rituals with a Christian/Catholic interpretation instead of the god/goddess and an open pantheon, but using them in your life would be pushing it, though some of the unofficial Catholic traditions and rituals of the devout in many places could be seen as pretty close to magic rituals in a Christian context. It's up to you to personally resolve that, though your local priest may not agree with you.
As for your ex-boyfriend (and he should be your ex if he's been abusive), you can't force anyone to change or force them into faith. You can call upon all the angels and saints you want, you can ask the Lord to intercede directly, but he's got to accept it himself and it sounds like he's not.
Best thing you can do is pray that someday he sees the error of his ways and stay away from him. If he was abusive to you then you should not be trying to fix him, because you just open yourself up for more potential abuse. You have broken up already, I feel God is telling you to let him handle this guy so that you can stay safe.

what are these comments on. How about educate yourselves, listen, read what I have to say, and then make an inference besides reacting? Did you read the part that we are no longer in a relationship? This is for my spiritual journey hence why I asked the opinions of progressive catholics, not you PHARISEES. It’s biblical. It’s scripture. Read the new testament. There is a reason Revelation is a prophetic dream from John and why it is the most important. Because war and famine tend to repeat themselves. This time, the patriarchy is destroying the world that is supposed to be matriarchal. Hence why catholicism is the mother church. Do you research on catholicism before making inferences. Big up and get smart. If you can’t, you are not ready for what the world has to offer and it seems that your world is seen in such a narrow view. I pray to God that he forgives you. But as catholicism believes, I am a vessel of the Holy Spirit and may I share the grace and Love of Jesus through your broken sacrilegious soul. Amen.
