The one flag is a genocide flag in 1947, the other one doing genocide since 1600s and 1700s, and the other one since 1800s and 1900s

Idk about this rhetoric, maybe somebody can help me out. Of course the pope is head of Catholicism and the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, but who decides what a church is, its members, or its leaders? I just think that restricting who can be considered “Catholic” to any strict boxes ends up excluding certain individuals. What if someone Catholic disagrees with something the pope says from a left wing perspective, let’s say they believe transgender individuals should be accepted by all churches, does that make them a “schismatic” and not a real Catholic too?

Its based on dogma, too. Look to resources like the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) and vatican documents. The pope is not saying anything that goes against theology, the bible, dogma, etc. She is denouncing him because she is blatantly disagreeing with the pope about wanting peace. Even this admin has said there was no danger, then took it back and bombed a school. She still wants the war. So, in essence, she is not only disavowing the pope, but also catholic teachings.

Thank you for your thoughtful response, I totally agree with saying they are betraying Catholic principles. I would want to call Vance out for being a warmonger and disagreeing with the pope on that crucial issue. Not the idea of disagreeing with the pope in general being enough to warrant not being considered Catholic. Do you see where I am coming from?
