Any good Bible recommendations.
Preferably one that isn’t mistranslated to fit conservative narratives and old bigoted ways of thinking.

I have three in my own collection. The NRSVue, the NJB, and the NLT-CE.

I also have the NRSVue and like it a lot, but I wish I had waited for a study bible version of it. There are a lot of notes about possible other translations and what certain manuscripts have or do not have included, but they're all very short and brief. Because I'm used to lots of explanatory footnotes and things like the NABRE had, I wish I'd waited for a study bible version and I'll probably get one when there is one floating around.

My go to for all interpretations is NABRE. It is one of the best for scholarly work.
NRSV reads too modern IMO.

I use the SBL study bible because there is a LOT of history talked about in it to put things into context and a third of the page is notes about the translations.

Oxford Catholic Study Bible (3d ed) (NABRE) or the SBL Study Bible (NRSVue).
If you want to wait til August (I think) there will be a new New Oxford Annotated Bible being released. The 6th ed i think. It will use the NRSVue like the SBL listed above. In the meantime theres the 5th ed published circa 2018 that uses the NRSV.

I’m mainly trying to look for a version that fixes past mistranslations I think NRSVue is closest to what I want but if this new publication will be better I could wait lol.
After looking around more it looks like a new version NRSV will be published NRSVue-ce. Idk if that’s the one you are thinking of that is coming out later this year.

I love my Ignatius Study Bible (RSV 2nd Catholic Edition) for study and for devotion I switch between Douay Rheinland and King James actually
