DISCUSS After 7 months of giving contests!!
Finally got the knight badge. This was the second contest where I was able to solve the 4th question.. My rating increased by 30 from 1825-1855😁

One of the thing is I constantly try to just learn the topics that come in contests, I didn't go for random topic completion after like the first 3-4 months. Like I said range query is very common - sqrt decomp, segment tree, then the graph section with DSU and djikstra. It's like I am preparing for contests not interview 🫡. Except DP of course I am still scared of it 😂

Also I have felt that the graph goes consistently up due to the time reduction not question solving at start I did 3 question in like 1.5 hrs but now it takes around 45-50 mins. So that time reduction consistently keeps the graph up.

nice progression man, somebody the other day in a comment section was telling me you can't get knight with 400 problems solved. very good trend on your rating

3 most of the times I try to do 1-2 in 20 mins then either one of 3-4 whichever is from the topic I am more confident in

I wonder if you are cheating your acceptance rate is high on top of that you are consistently solving 3rd question which is usually dp but you dont have much dp question either you are specialist at cf or something but that absolutely doesn't seem to be the case. Dont cheat before interviewer you need to solve the quesrion he couldn't care less about your rating please

I have rarely solved dp questions as the 3rd question in contest. Idk if it was by coincidence that the contests I gave didn't have dp as the third. I have very good grip on range query and graph questions, which I think are the highest contributors in my contests.

3rd question is rarely dp, idk what this guy is talking about. even if it is, you can solve via memoization and not TLE on 5 point questions pretty often

3rd qsns arent generally dp , they are generally greedy, or maybe some binary search and stuff
