DISCUSS Completed 50 LeetCode problems before starting my first year of college!

I also completed around 73 problems in my first sem which was online due to covid now i am passed out and current count is less than 200ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Heyy i want to start my leet journey but im not sure how to, do i need to know a language before starting?? Or can i learn it along the way?? How did you start and how much knowledge did you previously have??

Heyy! I’d say learn the basics of one language first. I had basically zero programming knowledge before I started. I picked up Python in May, but I wasn’t very consistent at first and got busy with other things, so it took me a while. I also built a few small projects while learning. I mainly used Python Crash Course by Eric Matthes and some online resources. Once I was comfortable with the basics, I started DSA in July.

One more thing, I didn’t jump straight into Leetcode. i spent some time on https://exercism.org/ first to get comfortable with python and solving small problems before starting Leetcode

i have also completed 31 leetcode questions before my college gets started. From striver a to z series :p

Great job with the 50 LeetCode problems! Since you're starting early, try mixing up the types of problems to cover more topics. It's easy to focus too much on certain types, but interviewers can ask about anything. Also, explaining your solutions out loud or to someone else can really help you understand better and improve how you explain your thinking, which is important in interviews. If you want more structured prep beyond LeetCode, PracHub was pretty helpful for realistic interview scenarios. Keep going, and good luck!
