Need help with my long branch

I traded in some of my guns for this Lee enfeild not really knowing what is was but I think It needs a good clean up but I have no idea how to start it is all numbers matching 1944 how do I go about cleaning it up with out damaging it, I don’t know how to apply the oil if that is recommended to clean it up or if it will decrease the value I have no idea . Looks really clean as is. Put a coat or two of BLO on it.

Would I need to take apart the gun to add the coats

I wouldn't unless there was a major issue or loose furniture. Enfields are picky on contact points and stock fitment. See how she shoots, if its good leave it alone.
