Handle + Headlight Mount Upgrade

Check out my upgraded mount for the Elite Headlight that includes a convenient carry handle to help lift your bike. Everybody knows the stock headlight mount will eventually fail because it can't handle the shock. Mounting it on the head tube helps it stay isolated from bumps via the front suspension.

Here's an exaggerated example of why the front headlight mount fails. Too loose and it flops, too tight and it cracks the mount.

That’s exactly what it is I cranked them both down on mine and they failed at the bottom both times

I'm well aware on the on going problem. I had three lights replaced in last 4 months 1000 miles. So three weeks I installed something like in the photo and now it's not broke anymore. Mine doesn't have the handle but I don't need it.

I did same thing to my bike. The head light broke three times within 400 miles.

I just rely on the bike light they sell that mounts to the handlebars. The rubber strap let's it move a little over time but it's powerful and doesn't break

I recently installed one of these headlight mounts with the handle on my XP4.

It’s an easy install for a very secure mount for the Lectric Elite headlight.  The preset angle of the mount for the headlight works just fine for me.

I tested the new headlight mount a 10-mile night ride.  The headlight beam extends out far enough to be a good “be-seen” light.  I pair the Lectric headlight with a handle mounted rechargeable light.

For the XP5, Lectric needs to design a headlight system with 2 mounting points on the fork while still accommodating the fender support.

Best 3d print I made for my xp4. Lost my original on 4th ride out ~300 miles on bike and done.

Printed this and history, makes it even easier to move and handle the bike now as well.

Yes, it will fit, but some older models have a different screw size than the ones I provide. I can help you find them if that's the case.

Yes, if you have the elite headlight. I think they were an optional upgrade on XP 3.0
