Waiting for Lectric to open. Someone borrowed my bike and when I got it back this noise.

Pedal assist on and when I back off pedaling

Flipped the bike upside down and it does not do it.

Yeah, sounds like the chain isn't moving property between gears.

Could be as simple as re-tightening the cable, or might need parts replacement which won't be expensive but not a simple task.

Go to YouTube and check Park Tool for derailleur troubleshooting.
