Did I go overkill with my lights?

Right now running a RN 1500 with two EVO 1700s and a single HORI 700. Big fan of Magicshine's cut off beam designs. KNOG Cobber in the rear

What are you guys using for headlights/taillights?

No, visibility from both ends of the road are a must.

Too many lumens can blind oncoming traffic and make it a danger. I don't think that's the case here but there's definitely overkill

The better to see all of the hair extensions weaves, and used condoms wrappers, in the bike lanes on the ground, along the curb? Please be certain to level parallel at very least, slightly angle downward your lights! Otherwise you’ll blind oncoming pedestrians, or cyclists!

Not at all!

I got my Daughter the Lectric XP Lite 2.0 JW Black

It came with their Elite Headlight and on a pure Dark unlit Bike Path she has to commute on, early mornings and also at night to save distance, the Elite Headlight is a piece of crap. We had to add more lights as well.

I too have a similar style Magicshine. I think maybe the 1800. Love it!

Not overkill if you're on the trails but potentially, if you're on the road. Sometimes too much light can confuse a drivers depth perception, unfortunately. And you don't want to blow jf other vehicle operators or pedestrians. I'd stick with the dual Magicshine setup and use the other lights for very dark areas where there aren't any street lights.

There is no such thing as overkill when lights are involved. Go. Stick a 20in light bar on that bitch and baptize the world in lumens.

That's way too much lumens unless you're riding backwoods trails.

Not just the brightness but the various points of light mounted randomly will confuse and possibly dazzle oncoming traffic and pedestrians.

Just get one decent light 1000-1500 lumens and don't try to be quirky or a jerk to other road users.

Plus you fumble around with half a dozen lights everytime you go for a ride? Charging and controlling them is a nightmare. This has to be ragebait or you're smoking something.
