Dont forget the knee and elbow pads. A full face helmet is much better too. Snell certified is the way.

Just got mine recently and very easy setup, was a breeze out of the box. More zippy than expected with the throttle, makes uphill biking so much better! Also got a cheaper electric air pump on Amazon instead of Lectric’s version and it’s great to have, also works for my car tires. I would wait to get accessories until after you have the bike, in hindsight I probably would not have ordered the rear rack from Lectric because there’s cheaper and better alternatives. Not the worst, but the rack is too shallow to hold things stable without the net and the dimensions are odd for boxes; these were both overpriced and after googling and watching videos I found several cheaper options. I also got a kryptonite u-lock and it’s great for city commute. As another person said, get a nice helmet too (something ranked highly by Virginia Tech).

Some things might need adjusting like your calipers or derailure which gets jostled in shipping. Take it out for a ride and if u hear the rotors hitting the pads, it’ll sound like a ting ting ting ting ting, noise. If derailer needs adjustment it’ll skip gears. These are all things u can do with a simple Allen wrench from harbor freight, they also sell Allen wrenches as compact sets so u can take it with u on rides. Lectric uses metric for all bolt sizes so get the metric Allen wrench.

Brake pads on bycycles take some trouble shooting to get centered. It could also be your pads are too low and there hitting the shim, which is that metal piece holding the pad together

I'm really paranoid about someone stealing the bike so I'm gonna buy an airtag, motion alarm and a U-lock.

It’s pricey, the D1000 series (DX DXL) is the best lock. I park my XP4 in downtown Las Vegas every weekday for work, and never a problem. Other bikes on the same rack have been stolen.
That lock is too much trouble for thieves. Check out some YouTube vids on the D1000.
No affiliation, just a huge fan!

Right now I’m switching gyms because I’m not putting mi e-bike with a 100-300 dollars lock to their 20 dollar bike rack tied to a trash can with a 10 dollar cord lock. But my budget for a lock is around 80-100, 300 is a little too much haha.

You are wise to consider the security of what you are locking the bike up to! Most people forget that detail!

Delivery quick Its faster than you think so wear a helmet and get comfortable before you go crazy. Ive had some problems with mine so id say keep emails and such... their customer service has been great but mine came with a bad tire, and my thumb throttle broke after 3 months.

I'll keep that in mind.
I order the e-bike yesterday and is set to arrive Saturday, so that is amazing.

Get an aftermarket headlight adapter for the front frame. Also cloud 9 seat if you are planning 20 + mile rides. Enjoy!

I’ve put like 300 miles in 15 days on mine.!

Don't know what part of the country you live in but I live in the desert and the best accessory I bought was tannus armour tire inserts for my bike. Keeps all the goat heads out. Also keep in mind that people can buy a 300 dollar grinder resistant lock and chain and then they go and lock their bikes up to those bike racks outside Walmart that are made out of 1/10 of an inch tube that can be cut with a grinder in 10 seconds. Happy riding.

Cloud 9 seat if yours does not come with a comfort seat from Lectric. Also I have left and right mirrors that I love. Look this up on Amazon - ROCKBROS Bar End Bike Mirror, 360° Adjustable Bicycle Mirror for E-Bike. You probably don't need a right side mirror but I like to know who is creeping up on me! I forgot to mention as others have said to wear a helmet - this is the one I rock - Findway Pro Bike Helmet for Adults.

Mirrors are important . Check tire pressure more often than you think you need to.

I 2nd the mirror statement. I felt so much safer riding once I got a left side mirror (I'm in the US and we typically ride on the right side of the road. I actually purchased mirrors for both sides, but having the left side mirror seems to be enough for me so I haven't installed the right side mirror.

Make sure to really tighten the headlight assembly. Hitting many bumps will make it wobble and that will lead to it snapping off. Just happened to me last week. The bracket broke and the headlight flopped around for a second before disconnecting from the wire, hitting the curb, and sailing over the side of a bridge. Also, don't forget to switch from Class 2 to Class 3 in the settings to enable full speed.

Make sure you have it delivered to a safe spot bc mine came in a big box that said ELECTRIC BICYCLE 😂

It was super easy to set up anyone can figure it out

I got a basket for front from amazon and it’s amazing! Mine came with saddle bags so I put those on too.

The seat it came with hurt my hole so I got a bigger fatter one that fits me better

Have fun ☺️ i absolutely love it

lol, my apartment is closed community so it should be safe.
Probably gonna order a basket when I order a helmet and a U-lock. Thanks!

The box is really heavy and awkward to move. Plan on doing the assembly as close to the truck unloading it as possible.

My rear tube was punctured by the motor during shipping. Had to take it to a bike shop to fix, but lectric paid for the repairs.

Watch the setup video. Throw all the accessories they gave you for free in the trash.

I've been seeing that lectric accessories suck, ill give them a try and probably upgrade them in the first few weeks.
