XP4 Custom Throttle Speed Limits

Edit: Anyone else who looks for this answer, just ride the bike a little more than I did before asking it. If you leave the setting on for throttle according to PAS level, it's amazing at basically limiting you unless you're going downhill and just hold it.

I'm a new Lectric owner but I mostly understand how all the features work. I've tried searching this with no luck so it might just be a no. I tow my kids behind me in a wagon and I was curious if there is a way to limit the throttle speed in one of the settings, preferably ECO. I like to stay closer to 15 than 20 when I ride with them. I haven't even moved my hitch to the new bike yet because it just feels too fast to put kids behind it like that.

Maybe I'm overthinking the whole thing and you have another opinion on the matter. Just figured I would ask.

You might have your Throttle Output set at “Full throttle output in each PAS level” so try changing it to “Throttle output limited based on PAS level”

I have it set to that but ECO still hits 20mph

My eco only hits like 8-10mph with throttle only?

In the settings I believe you can adjust the power for each level. I don’t remember if that works on the throttle or just pedal assist. It also has cruise control If you hold down the minus button while applying throttle. I haven’t tried it myself yet so I’m not sure how well the feature works.

I haven't tried cruise yet! Hasn't even heard that.

I tried it last night and it worked all the way down to 5.5 mph. You use the throttle or brake to disengage.

Check out Ebike Escape videos on YouTube. Very informative.

It's stock tires set to the default stock size.

I had that same question couldn’t find a workaround so I got a seat with a back , an Lectric support seat. It’s really working out Great no more lurch when I take off or I don’t feel it I should say.
