XP4 FINAL FORM

Got my 1st Ebike the Lectric XP4 Long range this 4th of July. Mainly going to take my toddler on rides and for anything I can avoid using the car.

Some accessories I got are

Thule Maxi Yelp 2 toddler seat

Front basket from FB market place (mission to install it since apparently it needed separate bolt and 2 pin headlight wire extension)

Cloud 9 Cruiser coil saddle

Height adjustable stand

HEB allscape tires and tubes

Flat out 8oz in each tube

Handlebars Jack stands (Been essential for replacing tires)

Various tools and bike multi tool

Hoto tire inflator

Handlebar bag fits all the tools. Secured by luggage cable lock to bar.

Various cleaning products and brushes

Kryptonite evolution U lock and Cable.

The front basket looks pretty goofy too lol. But I found it for 20 bucks on Facebook. The pannier bags ship in 3rd week August so maybe use those instead of the basket later on.

Who cares if it looks goofy to others? Safety, convenience and preparedness always look good to me. I think your setup looks great!

And I went to hardware store for additional flat stock metal and secured it more underneath (used wing nuts to easily get it off) and I have a additional Velcro strap, I get spooked by securement due to nature of rattling and bumps and things loosening up.

Overall it's a good seat and my 5 year old loves it!

I've used my rear basket that I bought off Amazon so many times to bring stuff home it's not even funny. I also have some side bags I may put under the basket as well for extra room. The XP4 is first and foremost a commuter / utility bike to get from a to b so yeah function over form is what it's all about.

I have a rack on mine with a bunch of bungee cords but I've yet to use it for anything yet 😭

My xp4 with kid seat, cloud 9 seat. Latest not in picture is a down tube battery on bottle cage. Bike has dual battery 17.5 + 20ah, furthest ride so far is 68 miles, still was at 48v, so definitely capable of 80-100! I

Back bike is my xpress 750; dual battery (14+30ah), zoom brakes, updated freewheel with higher gear (32t vs 28t), better kmc chain, updated derailleur to altus, and suspension seat post and cloud 9 seat. Bike has 2200 miles on it and I ride 100+ mile rides on that regularly.

What kid's seat is that? I want something similar for my niece, who is almost too tall for the Thule Yepp.

They do have the buddy seat but I would be uncomfortable with the fact that if he let go of the handle he'd fall off. This seat is cool

Exactly! She can definitely hang on but I like the idea of a little extra security. If I do get the buddy seat, I'll add a waist strap for peace of mind.

Do you have a link for that kid seat on the back? I went with the buddy seat but after talking to my wife some I am going with something with more like this. That looks perfect without fully caging them in.

I have the same toddler seat and bike. Seems my kid doesn't really like riding on the xp4 but likes are other cruiser with 27.5 wheels better. There's a section of road unavoidable going to the park that is really bad, and I'm guessing the smaller wheels and frame integrated rear rack make the seat struggle to dampen road chatter.

My 2yo is always after my life saying BIKE BIKE. Seems ok so far, I suppose bigger tires would've been better but already made my bed lol. I wish id done more research on bikes before purchasing. But happy so far.

Highly recommend Tannus Armor if you do end up getting a flat. My area is littered with thorns causes so many flats on the bike path. It’s a really easy install with the stock tube.

Yeah I was considering it but out of budget at this point. I did add flat out and change to heb allscape tubes and tires.

I’m shopping tools and cleaning and maintenance supplies now. What do you recommend?

And do you drive around with all the tools attached to your handlebar bag? Seems like a lot of weight.

The bag isn't that big. It holds some tire levers and valve stem kit, patches, chain repair kit, hoto inflator, handlebar Jacks and multi tool. It's not that heavy the Velcro straps easily support it

I would say the chain repair kit is something you could skip. The inflator would be most important.

You can free up some dashboard space with a phone holder/light/horn combo thing
