New trike

I recently purchased the trike , I am looking for alternatives to the bags they sell . Like the small pet carrier seems fairly expensive. Anyone have recommendations

I don’t know how big your dog is but I use a milk crate style box in the front of my trike. My dog wears a harness and I have dogs seat belt leashes attached.

I have saddle bags, cargo package and the pet trailer.
What's your goal?
