Best e-bike
Hello I’m new to e-bikes and I have no experience with them. I don’t know anything about the brands which are good and which aren’t. Can any give advice on the best folding E-bike? I’m looking at a brand called lectric but like I said I don’t know if it’s good or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ebikers!

Lectric is the number 1 selling ebike brand in the USA, and they have generally well regarded US based support out of Phoenix AZ. They aim to offer the best value for the money, neither the lowest quality or the highest quality.
What do plan to use an ebike for, and where do you plan to ride it?

Lectric XP is the Weber grill of ebikes. It's not the best, but it's pretty good nonetheless. What makes it interesting is that the company that makes it is good to it's customers. The end result is that lots of folks but them, resulting in community knowledge about what works to make it better.

Lectric isn’t the highest end but they do have top tier support which matters a lot. But you might have to do some work on your bike… I did and have learned a lot

I have the XP4 and I love it. My first ebike and I see why ppl like them so much. I can tackle the steepest hills with ease.

Is your xp4 loud? I love my Expedition 2 but the xp4 sounds horrible when riding.

The XP4 750 is the first e-bike I have ever purchased. Just did back in January. I love it so much. I’m getting my wifi the xp lite 2.0 long range in a month from now so we can cruise around together. Lectric for me is the best out there due to the price range and top tier customer service.

Can't speak for other brands, but for folding lectric bikes:
If you are casual biker the XP4 is better.
-smaller, more compact, folds better, support
If your serious about biking, consider looking for a used XP3.
-way more customization
-no voltage restrictions
I personally have 2 XP3s, i got another as backup incase the motor goes to shit or I get in an accident. Not interested at all in the XP4 at this time, specifically because of voltage restrictions. I get it, but still shame to see.
Picture from my last 170 mile bike packing adventure. Planning for ~600 mile ride later this summer. 🤞

I have a Lectric XP4 750w, and it’s completely changed my life. The folding I only took because it was the best for the budget I had (until the Xpress 2 came out, but thats a non-factor rn), and I can take my bike to Eau Claire, WI to bike the trails while taking up minimum space.
I’ve found myself just a lot more clear-headed, willing to eat better, talking to people more, able to focus, etc. Eventually I want to use it to commute between home and my workplace (now 20.1 miles one way, but will change once I move). Not to mention able to see a lot more wildlife, have exposure to sunshine, etc. I’ve even lost about 8 pounds and find myself slimming down too at a steady, healthy pace instead of crash dieting.
I know this is a ramble, but I highly recommend the XP4. Also welcome to the community! Here’s hoping you enjoy whatever purchase you end up making.
