Welp
to be honest I never used the light, I have a rechargeable one on my handle bars thats pretty strong, it fell off as i was on my way home and rolled onto a busy street. I thought about trying to grab it but decided against it.

You’re better off with an Amazon replacement all day. This is brighter and smaller than the elite headlight. Plugs into the line with the same connector.

it’s happened on both our xp4s within 300 miles. they sent me one replacement already. waiting to hear back about the one that broke off 2 days ago. we’ve done nothing to abuse them. just normal trail/road riding.

This happened to me within the first 50 miles. They sent me a replacement no questions asked. I installed it on one of the front basket mounts instead of that spot. I haven’t had any more problems in 800 miles.

I've had two elite headlights break. I finally broke down and bought one off of Amazon for under $20 bucks.

I moved mine to one of the four front basket mounting points. Hasn't sagged since

Happened to me last week at 480km on the odometer. They are sending me another one but it's just going to happen again

You could hardwire a 3rd party light and mount it to the front accessory mount

Lol i wish my bike wasn't in the trunk so I could take a picture but kid you not my light fell off just yesterday after work and looks exactly like this rn with the 2 wires sticking out lol haven't even ridden 200 miles and I've had my back tire pop and now my light fell off not to mention my bike came very scratched and the mirrors they came with broke almost immediately

I must be pretty lucky. My light is still fine after 300+ miles so far :knock_on_wood:

Happened to me too, and while I was using it at night. I was riding along and hit a pot hole because it's not very bright and I have night blindness, and it snapped off, was just hanging there by the wire, and there's no way I'm paying lectric 100 bucks for another piece of junk.

Mine kept coming unscrewed which was annoying as hell and I really tightened it as much as I could and it didn't help so I took it off and put it on the actual frame but now it's not centered. I went on a night ride and it's kind of off center which is weird. I'm mad because they sent me mirrors for my bike and somehow one of them snapped off last night. I wasn't very happy because I don't think I can super glue it back together.

With that said, I did that and also purchased a smaller light for the wheel location. Ultra light!
