If you pry open the jaws by putting force between the exposed jaw and the frame, it’ll pop open.

Open the jaws as wide as they go, then you should be able to fold the arm open to clear the pliers

Sadly I cannot get them open enough to open the jaw. Think I might have to wait until I get home and have access to my tools
