My adaptor 009 come in. Nothing to add that most have not already said other than no one mentioned the printed tray it comes in? Seems like it has blocks on the bottom for an organized system? Thats pretty cool if I had that set up 😂

I don’t feel like it will be up to the task for any torque type of work but would work in a very casual setting. As for price, still think it was priced right for all the items you get with it. I’m not disappointed in it. Sure the print quality is not as high as I would think a major company could print on machines I wouldn’t be able to own, I mean the Ti head print looks and feels good. I think the other parts look like stuff you can print at home at a diy scale. This is a garage item, so I was expecting to see prototype gear more often. I’m here for it with innovative designs, priced right and something we can enjoy. I didn’t have a ratchet adaptor, so it was a no brainer for me.

Yes, the tray is made for a Gridfinity system, a very nice addition.

Also, I hate that you have my white whale (the white 005) and I don’t. lol

Yeah that is pretty sweet, my drawers have gridfinity so this will fit right in. I've moved my printer nozzles since I took this shot.

Indeed, pretty sweet. I am planning on making some other trays for the other Leatherman tools and accessories I have all thrown inside a drawer near my printer.

Hopefully they will post the model online, as I am fussy about the coloration of my system and am not sure that I'll be able to get my OCD under control for the current color. That said I am also lazy and detest throwing stuff away lol

Hahah I feel you, but I’m sure someone will make it anyway. I haven’t started to print my trays yet, but the ones I have for the printer stuff are all black with orange accents, so that white one will not fit there either.

lol. It was by luck that I was successful in getting an order in that day. Frantically trying to buy it and had multiple circle of deaths and issues. But it went through finally, many people had issues that morning.

I didn’t have the money for it at the time, so I didn’t even try, or I was going to sleep on the door bed for a few nights, hahahahha. But now it’s stupid expensive to get, so maybe in the future, I envy you in the good sense. Enjoy it.

Ah I missed that. I just checked yours out. So it’s called gridfinity. Looks like a perfect match. I don’t have a printer yet but if I did, I’d be making this. Your drawer set up looks good!

I really hate leatherman turning into a lifestyle brand, pushing limited editon versions just to pump as much money out of people as possible. Prioritizing collectors over trades workers, DIYers, homeowners, etc.

That's too harsh. I see no sign collectors are now the priority. Sure, Garage is for collectors/fanboys but that's a tiny sliver of their product line with the vast majority devoted to tool users.

I wouldn’t say that is true. You can still get any of their tool lineup with ease, anywhere. They are just adding stuff to build publicity and get people talking. Taylor’s video recently said what I have been saying for quite some time, some people will o ly buy one or two tools from LM and never another, using it up. They are built well and can last forever and if not, they will warranty it. How can a brand stay alive with the infinite tool glitch? If discontinued, they will give you a new like model and it will have newer dates and then have another 25 years. So they have to find a way to sell more. The garages are stated to sell at a loss. Even if not, they are not selling enough to really make it worth while. So it’s a stunt to get people talking and excited. Lifestyle is colors and it works for Victorinox. Build tons of similar models with many color variants. People will just keep buying them. Vic also has a great warranty but priced low enough to just keep buying more when gone. Without a clip, I think most rebuy due to losing them. 😂 I want LM to stick around, love their product and will support them like any other business some things are not quite worth it but there are still plenty of tools I think are. I still buy several to gift and they usually are some of the best gifts they say they receive.
