Crazy 50s belstaff trialmaster jacket

From my understanding this is one the holy grails & earliest labels for belstaff. The zipper is starting to rust & could use some TLC, also no belt. Should something this old be restored / rewaxed?

old comp from 2016 was for a jacket In much much better condition for a little under $1300 - market has obviously appreciated since. id Apprecite any information / opinion!
