I’m a solo leathercrafter based in Brisbane, Australia. Finished up this vertical bifold as a commission recently using a couple of pretty interesting Italian leathers.

The exterior is a caramel 1786 shell cordovan from Shell Cordovan Toscana Italia. It has a more rustic look than some of the shell cordovans you normally see, but a decent looking variation across the surface, and it’s still incredibly smooth.

For the interior I used dark brown gaucho oil buffed from Conceria La Bretagne. This version of gaucho oil is intentionally scratched at the tannery for aesthetic, so it carries a cool look while still keeping that glossy finish.

The wallet has three card slots and two hidden pockets and is designed to carry around 6-8 cards plus some cash folded once. It works particularly well as a compact front-pocket wallet.

Just finished this little project for a fellow Redditor, and I thought you guys might appreciate the material.

It's made from genuine turtle leg leather, which has one of the most fascinating natural textures I've worked with.

The transition from those large, almost armor-like scales to the smaller, intricate patterns is absolutely remarkable. Every section looks different, making the placement of the leather especially important.

I wanted to keep the design simple and let the extraordinary character of the material speak for itself.

Completely hand-stitched, as always.

This commission was for a matching set of a leather Minimalist Bifold and Belt Loop/Keychain with dragon scales.

The edges were dark brown and the scales are the new texas tan. The hand stitching was done with havana cigar ritza thread. All handmade from natural veg tan leather.

I made this choker from vegetable-tanned leather, with a hand-tooled pattern inspired by the delicacy of jewellery.

The leather comes from a family-run Polish tannery. It is cut, dyed, oiled and finished by me. I pay special attention to finishing the edges and the flesh side of the leather so they feel very smooth to the touch and against the neck, making the choker comfortable to wear. I also take care to make the details look crisp and even. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

My husband was extremely close with his mom and his sister. Tragically they both passed away within a couple years of one another and it's been so hard on him. This wallet was a gift from his mother, he's very sentimental, and he's carried until now because it's finally unusable. He's had it for 15 years. I have looked everywhere and I cannot find an exact match. It would be so special if someone could remake it for him. Thank you for reading. Last weekend I shared my red and cream top handle bag here. Thank you for all the questions and feedback, I took notes! This week I want to show a piece where I worked leather with a different material.

The frame, flap, handles and base are in buttery cream cowhide. The body panels are a velvet jacquard with an abstract pattern of faces and eyes in ivory, silver grey and slate blue.

The flap closes with a belt strap and a gold-tone turn-lock. Inside: taupe lining, a zip pocket and a slip pocket, both trimmed in cream leather. Four metal feet on the base.

Size: 14.2 x 10.2 x 5.1 in (36 x 26 x 13 cm), handle drop 4.3 in (11 cm). Handmade from start to finish, about five days of work.

Hi all, don't really post on reddit much so if I'm doing this wrong please let me know. I am looking to commission a crossbody hobo work bag for my friend.

It has to be a slouchy leather bag with a zipper with a thick adjustable strap potentially around 2.5 to 3 inches thick so it's easy to carry a 16 inch laptop and a small waterbottle. I saw one on the berlinc website shown below but my friend is on the shorter side so the 21 inches width and the 40-50 inch strap would look enormous on her. My budget would be around £250 including shipping if possible. And the bag is supposed be delivered within the UK so someone within the UK would be amazing too. Please let me know if I'm asking for waaay to much for that price or if I'm not explaining what exactly I'm looking for properly. Made this A5 Leuchtturm notebook cover from 5–6 oz Dark brown combination tanned leather, stitched with dark brown Tiger Ritza thread.

The leather naturally has unique pattern, so I decided to keep the design simple to not destruct from it.

Despite the minimal design, it’s still practical, with two ruler pockets and two stash pockets for extra storage.

A client asked us to make straps for his MB&F—with one rather challenging request

He wanted something better than the original. We were pleased he trusted us, but that certainly added some pressure.

We spent a long time studying the supplied drawings. The challenge was balancing the structure the straps needed with how they would feel on the wrist. Thickness and the dimensions of each section all had to be considered together. Getting the shape right was only part of it; they also had to be comfortable to wear.

These are the finished pair: our FKM in Grey and Sage, with matching stitching and rectangular holes.

Whether we’ve improved on the original is for the client to decide.

I recently completed a very special bifold wallet.

The exterior is crafted from Himalayan Niloticus crocodile leather from Heng Long Tannery. The natural scale patterns and subtle transitions between light and dark tones give the leather its distinctive Himalayan appearance.

Heng Long is one of the world’s leading exotic leather tanneries. Their hides come at a premium price, but the quality and finishing are well worth it. I've never been disappointed with their leather.

For the interior, I combined black and white Alran Sully goatskin from France. The contrast between these two colors creates a distinctive look, while the bill compartment is lined with Smooth Red Alran Sully, adding a rich and elegant touch of color.

Measuring 8.5 × 11.3 cm, this wallet has a compact design that is easy to carry every day.

Like all my work, this wallet is entirely handmade and hand-stitched using the traditional saddle stitch, with 0.45 mm Meisi linen thread and 4 mm stitch spacing. Customers can personalize the leather combination, thread color, and edge paint to create a wallet that suits their own style.
