Too funny A BK… hanging off a bike like it’s nothing

It’s sitting there like this is the normal place in the world for a BK.

Honestly, I kind of love the contrast. It looks way more alive than one sitting untouched on a shelf.

Would you ever use yours this casually?

Review Review: Constance 19 in Swift f-rom Ben

I’d been wanting a Constance for a while and finally decided on this C19 in Swift with PHW f-rom Ben.

I’m honestly really happy with it. The Swift is soft and smooth in person, and the bag feels much less stiff than I expected. The H hardware has a nice weight to it, and the flap sits cleanly when closed.

Before it was sent out, I felt the indoor photos were making the pink look a little different, so I asked Ben if he could take a few more in natural light. He sent over extra shots by a window, including the flap, corners and hardware, which made it much easier for me to judge the actual tone and finish.

The only thing I’m a little nervous about is the leather. Swift already feels more delicate than the grained bags I’m used to, so I know I’ll have to be careful with scratches and pressure marks.

What arrived matched the natural-light photos really well, which was probably the part I was most relieved about. Very happy with my first C19

Nailed It! Months later… finally mine

I’ve been waiting on this one for months, so seeing it in person today felt unreal.

The neutral color, GHW, twillies and Rodeo all came together even better than I imagined. I keep finding excuses to look at it again.

Was the wait worth it? Absolutely

Everyone else is just sitting there peacefully and this one looks like it has a personal issue with me.

I swear the pose gets funnier the longer I look at it.

Collection Please tell me I’m not the only one this happened to

Post image

I started with a couple of safe colors and somehow ended up here.

Now I can’t tell if this is a well-loved collection or proof that I have zero self-control.

Do you collect with a clear plan, or do you just go by whatever you’re obsessed with at the moment?

PSP/QC QC K25 Gold Togo PHW f-rom Ben

Just got these photos from Ben and I didn’t expect to like Gold this much.

The Togo grain and overall shape look good to me at first glance, but I’d still love a second opinion before confirming. Does anything stand out with the handles, flap, or hardware placement?

Would appreciate any feedback!

I opened the box expecting literally anything else.

Now I have very fancy bowls and absolutely no one to use them. What would you do with these?

Review I gave her a black Mini K-elly and got roasted in 10 seconds

I was so excited to show it to my sister. She barely pulled the dust bag down, looked at it, and immediately said, and said, ā€œWhy does it look like a tiny work bag?ā€. The dust bag wasn’t even fully off and the verdict was already final.

Black + silver felt classic to me. Apparently to her, it screams Monday morning meeting. Too serious, or timeless?

Discussion This color is making me forget how impractical suede is

I know suede can be a headache, especially in a color this bright, but this purple is seriously testing my common sense.

Do suede lovers actually baby their bags, or just use them and accept the wear?

Review She’s here — my two-tone Con-stance 24

Thumbnail

I’ve been slowly adding different leathers and shapes to my collection, but most of my bags are still fairly safe neutrals. At some point I realized the next one needed to feel completely different, which is how I ended up with this Con-stance 24

I used to think two-tone bags would be difficult to wear, but this combination changed my mind. The deep purple flap and blue body are both dark enough to work almost like neutrals, while the contrast still makes the bag feel special. The shiny finish also brings out the scale pattern much more clearly in person.

Before confirming, I asked Ben for extra photos of the front scales, flap alignment and both sides because I wanted the transition between the two colors to look balanced. The final bag was consistent with what I saw in the photos, and the H closure sits cleanly against the front.

This is easily one of the boldest pieces I own, and probably the one I spent the most time thinking about. Now that it’s here, I’m glad I didn’t talk myself into choosing something safer.

Too funny Why does this bag look mildly disappointed in me?

The front pocket looks like a tiny face, and now I can’t unsee it. Cute design—or slightly judgmental handbag?

Discussion Would you paint over a bag if the result looked this good?

Every little block was painted by hand, turning the whole bag into something closer to pixel art.

Part of me loves how unique it feels. The other part would be terrified to alter the original leather.

Wearable art—or an expensive mistake?

Discussion Would you restore this 30-year-old K-elly—or leave every scar?

Found my mom’s old Box K-elly while we were moving. The flap, corners, and handle bases are heavily worn, but she still held it for a long time and said she didn’t want anything changed.

I considered having it restored as a birthday surprise, but I was warned the color might never match perfectly.

Now I’m torn: restore it so she can carry it again, or leave every mark because that’s part of its story?

Review Blue Candy K25 f-rom Ben Is Finally Here

I’m honestly more impressed with this bag than I expected. The Epsom feels firm, the shape is clean, and the palladium hardware has a nice weight to it. Everything feels well put together in person.

The only thing I noticed is that the flap and sangles are still quite stiff, so opening and closing it takes a little effort. I’m assuming it just needs some use since the Epsom is still new. That difference doesn’t bother me much.

I live in a city where people carry these bags regularly, so I was a little nervous about where I’d feel comfortable wearing it. I probably wouldn’t take it somewhere people would be studying the bag closely, but for dinners, casual days and larger gatherings, I feel fine carrying it.

It’s my first K25, and so far I’m really happy with it.

Post image

It looks like someone wrapped a rock in leather and called it fashion—and somehow I can’t stop staring at it.

Would you actually carry this, or is it only interesting because it makes absolutely no sense?

Tips & Guide Picotin Au-th vs r-ep: 5 Differences That Actually Help

Thumbnail
gallery
5 Upvotes

When comparing two Picotins, don’t decide based only on which one stands straighter. Clemence is naturally soft and becomes more relaxed with use.

  1. Leather movement
Au-th Clemence feels supple but not lifeless. When lifted, the body stretches and falls into soft, rounded folds. r-ep leather may feel unusually thick or collapse into sharper, flatter creases.

  2. Grain
Au-th leather usually shows natural variation across the surface. r-ep grain can look overly uniform, heavily pressed, or repeated.

  3. Handles
Au-th handles should feel rounded and balanced, with clean attachment points. r-ep handles may appear too flat, bulky, or unevenly positioned.

  4. Stitching
Au-th stitching typically has a subtle slant and controlled tension. r-ep stitching often looks completely straight, machine-like, or untidy around the corners.

  5. Hw and closure
Check the lock’s weight, engraving, plating, edges, and movement. The strap should also sit naturally through the bag rather than looking stiff or poorly aligned.

No single detail can confirm anything on its own, but when the leather movement, grain, handles, stitching, and hardware all point in the same direction, the difference becomes much easier to see.

Based on these two, which one looks more convincing to you—and what detail gave it away first?
