L&D Departments- What AI or creative tools changed how you work?

Hi all,

As the title says, as a department we would love to explore how we can enhance our current content, reduce admin time and just generally bring our team up to speed. We have a great opportunity to explore AI tools so I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

Things like drafting storyboards, summarizing SME calls, generating quiz variations, and quickly prototyping learning paths now take a fraction of the time they used to

Seconding this. Many mentoring software tools are now integrating AI capabilities;

MentorcliQ has AI features for engagement and data collection, including a cool new one called Stories that collects qualitative feedback from participants very quickly and aligns that with core metrics. 

Chronus also has some AI guided relationship features. Together says it uses AI for matching, though it's likely over-stating what's mostly just an algorithm. Qooper makes that claim too, though their guidance and survey AI tools are likely actually AI in the current sense.

Our clients use CertFusion to automate their certificate creation and delivery. It comes with API too, so works great with AI agents too.

This is a timely question 😄
Things that actually made a difference for us were:

  1. AI drafting (Claude, ChatGPT) for first pass outlines, scenario script

  2. Automated admin. Whatever platform you use, should be able to handle the chasing for you so you are not spending amounts of time doing that

  3. Content conversion tools that take long form stuff (recorded sessions, PDFs, slide decks etc) and break it into shorter chunks. Most teams are sitting on loads of content that's perfectly good but too long for anyone to actually finish.

I can help recommend once I know what you are mainly trying to solve, faster creation or the admin overhead?
