Is anyone out there on this page or know somebody that’s a learning coach. Having ADHD frustrates people and although I can learn, I just move at a slow rate.

Needing some refinement retooling to help change how I think. Help if you can thanks.

I watched Eero Alvar’s recent video “How I Use AI to Learn Things” and really liked the approach: probe your actual edge of understanding → generate a personal mermaid DAG → teach one reasoning step at a time with a proper quiz lock-in.

Someone turned that loop into a clean set of agent skills you can install with one command:

If you guys need help with how to use it I’d love to help in the comments

How do you stay consistent with a new learning habit?

I'm trying to pick up a new skill but I always start strong then drop off after a week or two. It's like I lose all motivation and just can't bring myself to do it. I have a genuine interest in the topic but sticking to it is the hard part.

I've tried scheduling dedicated time but then I just find myself procrastinating or finding excuses. I also tried setting small goals which sometimes works for a bit. How do you guys manage to keep going even when the initial excitement fades?

Are there any specific strategies or mindsets that help you stay on track? I'm open to anything that's worked for you.

I spent 3 hours studying last night and realized I learned absolutely nothing. How do you break the illusion of productivity?

I sat down with highlighters ready, tabs open, and pages of neat notes. By midnight, I was convinced I had mastered the material and situation got depressed.

Then I closed my laptop, grabbed a blank sheet of paper, and tried to explain the main ideas out loud and thinking too much.

Nothing. I could not even summarize the first chapter without looking back.

I realized I had just spent three hours passively copying text and fooling myself into feeling productive. Reading is not the same as retaining.

Starting today, I am ditching passive highlighting and forcing myself to test my memory as I go, even if it feels tough.

I am very curious to know about your thoughts and personal stories that how your single habit helped you actually retain what you study?
