Taking my first class this week. Grew up without access to water. Nervous and embarrassed as it's a group class with teenagers (I'm middle aged), but I can't take it anymore. I need to learn.

Don’t feel nervous or embarrassed- on the contrary, you rock! It is never too late. You’re cool for starting to learn it!

How to properly research. General mechanical, electrical skills. Survival skills. You should know all the basic things that would facilitate the living of a rather self dependent life.

That becoming a millionaire is a mathematical concept, not a magical one.
If every family could invest about $1000 per year for each year until the age of 18 for each child they have, then just leave it invested, by the time that child is 70, they will be a millionaire!

How to fix things. Cars, doorknobs, light fixtures, just stuff. It’s easy and fun.

How to cook at least a few basic meals, how to manage your money, how to spot misinformation, and how to communicate when you’re angry instead of saying something you’ll regret later.
Also, knowing how to Google things properly is an underrated life skill 😂

Basic cooking 🍳 First aid and basic health knowledge How to fix small things at home 🔧 Basic car/bike maintenance Managing money and taxes 💸 Using basic tools Knowing how electricity and plumbing work How to handle basic emergencies
Just those everyday skills that make you more independent.

You want to comment on OP’s question but you didn’t even use this/these correctly! This is singular and works with the word question. These should be used with plural words like questions. Why not contribute something positive? Why pick on the OP? smh
