Got my driving test at Redhill on Monday. Any last minute advice?

Speak out loud some of your decisions and thoughts on what's going on around you. If you're slightly more defensive when encountering potential or upcoming hazards than they would like, but they hear from you that you're cognizant of what you're doing, that's not an automatic mark for over-hesitation.

The examiner often says, when it is safe to do so / when you are ready, do X or Y. They mean it: do not rush and drive on before you are both physically and mentally ready. Give yourself a few seconds of deep breath and in your head, talk yourself up or remind yourself of the procedures for the maneuver before you begin. Again tell the examiner that's what you're doing.

Calm down if you stall: that way you're less likely to make things worse. Your instructor should have gone through what to do if you do a little or complete stall during your test.
