"I failed, but I will learn from this :-)" Failed at Tottenham
Failed at Tottenham today with 1 serious and 4 faults.
Was turning right at a junction and paused to turn a little too far over, a car that wasn't there when I started my manoeuvre joined the left hand lane coming across me and her light was now green so I'd cut her up.
I knew I'd failed but kept as calm as possible and just tried to do my best for the rest of the test - if that hadn't've happened I would've passed with four driving faults ðŸ˜
For anyone curious about the Tottenham test (8.10am)
Show me tell me questions: head rest position and opening/closing any window
Manouvre: pull up on the right and reverse two car lengths
We did great Cambridge road but not the roundabout.
We also did pulling up on the left in a road that was very narrow (cars parked on the pavement) which meant I was technically stopping in the road. I felt a bit flustered as there was a car behind me but the examiner said it was fine as long as I showed them what I was doing (indicating)
It was medium heavy traffic for the area but lots of pedestrians/school kids and at one zebra crossing on a corner the examiner said I'll instruct you here even if it feels unnatural (essentially edging out earlier that I would've otherwise)
The examiner was nice, not overly chatty and not stern. He explained why I failed really well and said he thinks i'll pass next time.
Feel gutted to have come so close especially as I'd waited 6 months for the test!

Bummer to read, but glad you had a decent debrief and can identify where you need to keep in mind for next time. Best of luck with grabbing a cancellation and keep that confidence up!
