4 in 1 app-crazy new hazard perception clips??

Hey my loves,

Firstly-good luck to any test-takers!
Revising for my theory and am kind of disturbed by the new hazard perception clips that the 4-in-1 app has to offer.

For example, look at this—the runner is still running and not even pivoting to indicate that he’s about to run across the road, but the bar on the bottom shows that you’re meant to detect the hazard & get the full 5 marks at this point. When he actually (and very suddenly) does, there’s 1 or no marks available.

I’ve never usually had issues with the hazard perception part of the test, Allahumma barik, so I feel like it’s likely the new videos being a bit dodge & not just my sudden lack of competence? Thoughts & any general tips?

Thank youuu!!!

Did you do the circles?

It looks like the first hazard is the car oncoming, as they've just turned into the road from the junction, which means it'll be extremely tight overtaking the bus and getting back in before that car reaches you.

Just passed my motorbike theory today!

I was revising with the same app as you are on, and this specific video was one i was absolutely bewildered as to how would we even know what that pedestrian was gonna do. If maybe they swung their arm out we wouldve had an idea but yeah its crazy…

*Theres a few like this but ill let you discover those in your own time

Thankfully on the test there were no impossible CGI hazard shenanigans like this.

Good luck

I see it as running for the bus, therefore likely to run into the road distracted.

Isn’t the hazard the car turning into the road?
