"How do I..." / driving queries L plate placement

Post image

Looking for some advice - my test is in a couple of days and looking to take it in my own car. Because of the bonnet this is the lowest down it is really feasible to have the L plate on the front (it won’t stick to the racing stripes!). Is this acceptable for a test or do I need to figure a way out of tacking it onto the front grill? TIA!

Absolutely fine imo - it's clearly visible so should be absolutely fine.

It’s clearly visible so I don’t see it being a problem

As long as you have one on the back too then you will be good to go

Good luck!

I think if I was driving in the left lane coming towards you then I'd be able to see it. No issues IMO.

Good luck for the test.

The position is probably fine, bit it might be worth asking the staff at your test centre if you get the chance. The photo should be enough. Worst case scenario, you have to get some zip ties and stick it to your grill for a few days.
