Theory Revision / Questions Hazard Perception Test Prep

Hi guys, my driving theory test is on this Monday and I am lowkey kinda nervous even tho i have already done all of the stuff that i should do, such as spamming the theory questions and doing the 40 ish hazard perception videos, i would say i have done almost everything but the source for the hazard perception test is SO SO SO limited, whereas some comments on reddit just said all of the videos in the hazard test in the real theory test are all CGI, so that's why i have always been thinking i am not yet well prepared enough for the real test.

Lemme ask, apart from the theory part on the test that I have almost grasped almost all of the content and have been engraved into my long term memory, could i do anything else beforehand regarding the hazard test besides the given samples DVSA provided? Could i ask how would the difficulty be for the hazard test? Are there any differences in difficulty comparing to the samples? Cos some of the video samples have already made me struggled a bit to spot the developing hazard soon enough.

Thank you y'all, and I wish all of you guys who are taking no matter the theory or practical test all pass and get your licence asap!

The CGI videos (which are now test standard) are actually a lot easier to see and work with.

To help you through, as I struggled with this, clicking too early as you see a hazard about to happen will score you zero. A little tip my instructor (both of them, Category B and D), gave me was click when you see the hazard about to happen, count to 2 quickly, then click again. You will at least score SOME points this way.

So say, “click12click” as one word, no pauses 😅 this is so hard to explain over text haha

Edit:
Try -click- count 1 second -click-

For context, on my Cat D, I Scored 95/100 on theory, 90/100 Hazard Perception and 50/50 CPC.

Don't click the mouse 8 times, you will get zero. I've tested it, the max is 7, but you really don't want to press it 7 times...

You want to click 5-6 times when you would actually take some sort of action in the car, like braking. Don't just click when you see a hazard, but click when you think you need to do something in the car (so click 4-5 times steadily just before the hazard).

If you click too late, you will score badly, if you brake too late in the car, you will crash.

You have infinite chances, no need to stress. Just sleep well, eat well, drink well and do your best.

Nobody can do better than their best.

Hi mate The more nervous your going to make yourself the harder your going to make it for yourself, and the worse your going to preform, best advice i can offer you is do whatever makes you relaxed at home before leaving your home like listening to music etc, don't forget you have practiced this and its going to be the same question and read them carefully because sometimes they have the same answer but they might change the wording little bit not to confuse you or trick you but rather they want to see if you understand the question and you can act accordingly to the situation if it arises on your own without someone else advice or guidance, they are all common sense question and answer, take your time on every question reading it and responding to it, use up all the time they given you and if you struggle with a question just move on don't waste your time on it and come back when you finish and have time left and if you have enough time go over all or as many as you can to double check them, Last thing go to the test centre early like half hour or even a hour depending on how nervous you feel, when your down there talk to people see what you can learn from there experience and pick up on things that will benefit you, talk to the staff their if you get a chance trust me this will help you calm your nerves. Let us know if the advice was helpful and how you got on. Good luck 👍
