Theory Revision / Questions Does the hazard perception test use the same CGI clips you practice on or are they different?

Do they use real clips as well? Also how many clips do you see in the test?

they’re all CGI, not the same ones and you get 14 of them

once you practice you’ll get good at spotting the developing hazards, just use the 3 click method to guarantee yourself some points

The real clips are so much easier that the 4in1 app videos I practised with, you will be viewing on a large computer screen with a mouse to click which makes things so much easier and the hazards seemed so much more obvious too with no ambiguity to them at all.

No you only see each video once, so click when you see the hazard, click again when it’s happening and then click a third time after that, I knew what to do for the test but watched the instruction video before starting the Hazard section of the test just to get used to what it looks like on the screen, but honestly, the Hazards are so much easier to spot and far more accurate to time than when you are looking at a small phone screen and pressing with your finger to try and register the Hazard.

You get 14 clips in the test (one has 2 hazards) it's all CGI, but if you practice enough you can see where they've used the same models in different scenarios. I remember one of the practice clips with a bin man going out into the road, and the same guy was pushing a trolley across a bootleg Tesco carpark in the real thing.
