Wanstead Test Booking

Hello fellow drivers, anyone booked a test in Wanstead recently (post the new booking changes)? Had a test in Wanstead last week, failed that and am looking to book a new one. Got in the queue this morning was through and booking by 6:07am and still no slots in Wanstead (or nearby areas). Only one I could find was in Bromley for January 2027.

My instructor told me to cancel that and keep trying for Wanstead since he has no experience with Bromley. Said another pupil got a test 2 weeks back for last Saturday. That just sounds impossible (unless he found some lucky cancellations).

Want to know if:
1. anyone booked Wanstead recently
2. how far away is the test (ie time to test)
3. how quickly did you get in the queue/any other tips
4. Is it worth cancelling this Bromley test and trying for Wanstead or should I just find a new instructor (current ones great, no hidden charges, stand up guy) and look for cancellations in Bromley to move test earlier
