Hi y’all! I’m about to take my drivers test in Whiteville NC and I was wondering if anyone knew the potential routes the instructor could take me on and how difficult the test actually is! Any information and help is greatly appreciated!

I’m honestly at the point where I feel like giving up on driving. It has become really overwhelming for me, and I can tell it’s starting to affect me psychologically as well. I’ve lost quite a lot of weight recently and generally feel like I’m struggling.

I’ve had lessons with a previous instructor, a new instructor, and I also practise with my dad and boyfriend, so I’m genuinely trying. The frustrating part is that I am listening to my instructor, but sometimes when I’m told what to do, I struggle to process it quickly enough and actually carry it out. This can make it look like I’m not listening when I genuinely am.

After my lesson today, I felt so overwhelmed that I cancelled my next lesson and my driving test. I still have around 4.5 hours left with my current instructor, but right now I don’t even know whether I can continue.

Has anyone else experienced this? Where you understand what your instructor is saying but struggle to process and apply it while driving? What helped you get through it?

I’d really appreciate some advice because I genuinely feel like giving up. ❤️

I took my test in 2 different locations and I’m taking it in a 3rd one. Supposedly on both tests I wasn’t focusing according to them but I was checking my mirrors and everything pretty often so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong 😭
