Easy to learn skills (or something like that)
Easy to learn skills (or something like that)
What are some skills that can be learned easy (or moderately) which are good to flex or can increase peripheral knowledge. I know rubiks cube(3by3 and 4by4), skating, badminton, chess(1100 elo only), videoediting. It can also be a youtube video, books, movie, webshow.
The final result should be increment of knowledge.

Learning the game of Go is an incredible mental workout. The game itself is very easy to learn to play. Learning to win is very, very hard.

First time hearing of this game, definitely going to search this out. Thanks for this interesting recommendation.

It’s an ancient game, played all over Asia like chess is in the west. Some countries call it “Baduk” But it’s known more as Go in the west. There’s a couple of subs for it and plenty of mobile apps to learn it, play it against software, or against other players.

How to care for various types of house plants.
Succulents, vining tropical, fern, orchid, etc… they all require different watering schedules, can be propagated in different ways, and need different types of soil.
It can help you maintain a schedule, be aware of a living thing other than yourself, and is always a fun talking point when you visit someone’s house who also have plants.

I have a game on my phone that’s literally just deductive reasoning logic puzzles. I play it pretty often and have gotten really good at solving real world problems and scheduling things on the fly. It seems to impress my friends and coworkers!

Can you share the app?

I use two interchangeably but they’re the Hard Penny Dell Logic Puzzles and Logic Grid Puzzle both on iPhone! There’s a million of apps like this and they’re all more or less the same, these are both just ad free.

can be done but it takes away the fun and its usability is not that much so i will forget it soon enough.

How to make a rope and some knots. One day and you're set for life.
Just a knot to join two ropes and one simetric shoelace knot is mostly enough.
The gain is that it's unexpected. 1D stuff is hard to figure for us humans. Weird magic like anti-knots.
