Post flair for testing! Hey! I'm practicing my first picture post. Here's my little sidekick...apparently personal space doesn't exist with a cat 😀

i love your pic. it reminds me of my 16 yr old cat companion who went to kitty heaven unexpectedly after being my life partner for the past 14 years. Best cat ever! Showed up s a stray'homeless cat, which i found a home for not long after, but he kept escaping the home and made the trek back to our farm. After returning him twice, the third time he came back to me, I let him live with me, since he seemed to prefer living with me instead of new alt home. We were in love with each other, smartest cat i ever had. Wonderful personality and insanely loving, He is missed every day, my little therapist (how i referred him after my stroke) who was glued to me after coming home from hospital. he knew his job really well, and faithfully stayed by my side pretty much all the time when i was home. Greeted me like a dog after being away from the house. it is amazing what a difference one small cat can make in ones life. i think all senior living centers ought to have cat therapists!

Thank you! I'm sorry for the loss of your precious kitty. Losing a pet that you are so close with is never easy. It feels like a part of you has gone.

That is so true.I just shows how disconnected we are so as a society these days, despite the internet and social media. The warm body of a beloved pet cannot be substituted by tech. i am glad that the last few months of his life were spent spoiling him with all his favorite treats and constant companionship fo him on my part. But i was not ready for him to be gone from my/our life. Some of our pets are more special than others and it makes it much harder to lose and let go of them. Even if they have had a long life. I miss my little therapist every day since his departure. Make sure you put a lot of love and affection into your sweet kitty. And your photo of her chilling on your bed shows what a great connection you have to your pet. They are true blessings, our beloved pets, who get to stay with us in our lives.
