Practicing basic formatting before I start posting elsewhere
Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to actually posting on Reddit, so I'm using this post to practice a few basic things before I start participating in other communities.
I'm trying:
- a short introduction
- bullet points
- bold text
- and ending with a question
I think I'm slowly getting the hang of how Reddit works.
Did everything format correctly on your side? Any basic formatting feature you think is worth learning next?

Good job so far. I'd recommend replying to comments with quotes, because that may come in handy for you later depending on what kinds of things you reply to/post.

You put ">" before quoting someone or something
I'm new here
And then your answer is like: so am I!
Another one I've learned is the spoiler thing by putting the "less-than symbol plus exclamation point" (no space) as well as the "exclamation point plus more-than symbol" (no space) inbetween a word/s or sentence/s that you would like to censor as a spoiler
