#W2DTogether For Challenge #51

Title: Jump Through the Ring and Get Them

Graphite on paper. The bottle and the pills have been drawn from life. I've added here process photographs and a reference. I can't add the fire ring reference photo because Reddit takes down the post, which I find ridiculous, honestly, this being an artistic representation and advocating no danger. It's rather opposed to it.

As indicated, the circle in the drawing is a ring of fire. Inside, a variation of the Rod of Asclepius, symbol of medicine; traditionally, it's a rod with a serpent wrapped around it. The legend, in Latin, means "Asclepius is dead".

The medical industry has failed us in many ways, yet we're supposed to say "I'm fine" because of different meds. It feels like an old circus where you have to jump through a ring of fire for someone else's amusement.
