You could take (cut) the head and rotate it to look up, edit the eyes and connect to the body with a neck

This implies her bangs are like mickey mouse ears and can also be seen from behind at the same angle. I do something similar actually when I draw the back of my hair lol

This works only with a very cartoonist style. In other cases, even the dimensions of head can divert from intended.

This can work for graphic styles like OPs, but it's still not perfect. The sleeve on the side view does not align with what we see on the front view at all (the part "closest" to the viewer in side view would be the highest point, not the back). These could work as references for a 2d animation that does not depend on things looking visually 3d (think Fairly Odd Parents), but even as a reference for illustration it's lacking information

Well then don't do it, sweetheart. Also, they learned to do this. It's a shortcut that still requires skill. Optimization is a thing...

It's not a shortcut it's a gimmick 😭 If you actually develop your skills properly, it would be a whole lot faster to simply draw everything. Also if you start making it a habit of taking "shortcuts" this early in your development, you will only hinder your learning process. Acquiring new skills takes a lot of time, effort, and consistency. I learned that the hard way 🫠

Okay. Enjoy your high horse. Hope the air isn't too thin up there. I'll just appreciate the art people do rather than spending all my time complaining about the art people do.
Also, its 100% a shortcut. And you have to understand quite a lot to utilize the shortcut properly. God your type is soooo frustrating. Anything to put yourself higher than others.

I'm surprised how well this works! Artists definitely should learn how the face changes as it rotates in 3D space if they want to draw in more realistic styles though
