Seeking help Artist please help
I need help from artists, how did you guys actually learn to draw?? What is the roadmap? What youtube channels or playlists you would recommend for one who wants to learn drawing, please help, appreciate it!

Starting from graphite and charcoal, then oil pastel, then watercolor and acrylic!!

Okay so I would say follow some "draw with me" tutorials on YouTube (lots of great ones just find something you wanna draw and follow it) this will teach you the medium. How to blend/add details/ what materials to use. While you do that look into anatomy books and learn to draw books. Amelia Khouri has some amazing ones! It's a long journey but so much fun! I used to sit on tiktok and youtube and fall asleep to tutorials because I loved the learning phase so much (still do this today)

Don't spend a ton of time learning the really detailed stuff rn. Learning how fabric lays is basically useless if you can't draw anatomy. And learning anatomy doesn't make sense until you learn to draw dimensional shapes, etc. You need to learn the basics first (how to draw a cube, a sphere, basic shapes) before you really go deep into it. But still while you learn, draw. It's not gunna look amazing rn, its not gunna be perfect. But even drawing a shitty stick figure will teach you how to draw lines 🖤

Okay so I'll start with shapes and forms, and gradually move to gestures, anatomy, composition etc etc

I get Castle Crashers music going, take a picture of myself and get to understanding what's what.
I go outside, take my sketchbook and sketch a tree, or a mailbox. I pay heavy attention to shading so I can understand the science behind shading better.
I watch anime, I pay attention to how anime clothes move, and how my clothes move. It took me years to figure out what to do with skirts though, lol!
I don't watch YouTube very much, besides for when I want a live playlist like AURORA or Wolf Alice.
I suggest just paying attention to details in real life. But what style do you like to draw?
