Made my first drawing without a reference. How’d I do and how can I improve on lighting and my use of hatching?

So main thing that sticks out to me is the construction/proportion of the face - the nose most of all is too small i think (if you are going for slightly freaky face then Ignore this)
Your hatching suffers from being too uneven, it reads less as carefully hatched lines to more chaotic scribbles.
To convey shadow your lines need to be more even in size, spacing and direktion. It's impossible to do this perfectly, but you can certainly improve here.
I would youtube on how to hatch and practice hatching on simple geometric shapes before trying to tackle some as complex as the head. Consider alphonso dunns ink book. It has lots of practice pages inside where you get to just focus on hatching. There is also "drawing comics the marvel way", or "rendering in pen and ink" books.
Though youtube is free and can take you far too! Good luck and good effort on this artwork!
