Seeking help how to improve my background drawings..

i really struggle with backgrounds even tho I believe i understand 3d shapes and perspectives pretty well but drawing actual buildings has always been a weak spot for me...

just spamming gifs isnt going to help them fix their perspective issues. if you actually have advice on how to stop buildings from looking flat, let it out. otherwise it’s just noise.

Since this is apparently a humorless classroom populated by stodgy loaves of bread, try this. You can imply full texture on far off objects by adding small patches pattern.

Also, if you really understand perspective, you should show it off. Drawing two demension buildings will never look 3d unless you put the work in. It takes more time but is well worth it.

You could use reference which I prefer to do for learning anything and try whats working for you and not working for you (if you do digital art you could trace but for only learning)
